Last updated: 29 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy from FW APPAREL on apparelforwoman.com. Please read them before you order. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

We are an online shop only. We don’t have a showroom or a shop you can visit, and we don’t keep our own warehouse. Our orders are packed and sent by our supplier in China.
2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to every order placed on our website. We sell to consumers in the United Kingdom, for their personal use, and deliver to England, Scotland and Wales only. Our delivery policy and returns policy also apply to your order.
3. Your order
- To order, choose the colour and size you want, add the piece to your bag and go to checkout. Before you pay, you can check your order and correct any mistakes, in your bag or in your details. Our contract with you is in English. We keep a record of your order and email you a confirmation. If you have a customer account with us, you can also see your order there. We don’t keep a separate copy of these terms for each order, so please save or print a copy for your records.
- When you place your order, we email you an order confirmation. Our contract with you starts when we send that email.
- If we can’t supply an item, for example because it is no longer available or there is an obvious mistake in a price or description, we’ll tell you and refund you in full for that item. If you would rather cancel the rest of your order too, just tell us and we’ll refund you for that as well.
4. Prices and payment
Our prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery to mainland UK is free.
- The price you pay us is the total shown at checkout when you place your order. We never add charges after you have ordered.
- If there is an obvious mistake in a price that you could reasonably have spotted, we’ll contact you before anything is sent. You can then order at the correct price, or we’ll cancel that item and refund you in full.
- You pay securely through our Shopify checkout, using one of the payment methods shown there. Payment is taken when you place your order.
- Import VAT, customs duty or fees that a carrier may ask for when your parcel arrives in the UK are explained in our delivery policy.
5. Our products
We describe every item as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different depending on your screen. The photos of our pieces are made with AI image tools, so the real piece may differ from the photos, for example in colour, sheen or texture. If a piece is not as described or shown, you have the rights in section 8. Our size guide is a general guide to body measurements, and sizes can vary from piece to piece. If you’re unsure about a size, ask us before you order.
6. Delivery
We deliver free of charge to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales (mainland UK). We can’t deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. Your order is sent by our supplier in China and may arrive in more than one parcel. You usually receive it within 5–13 working days of placing it. If it hasn’t arrived within 30 days of your order, you can cancel it and we’ll refund you in full. Delivery times, customs and what happens if a parcel is lost or damaged are explained in our delivery policy. Your order is our responsibility until it has been delivered to you.
7. Your right to cancel
You can change your mind and cancel your order within 30 days, starting the day after delivery (if your order comes in more than one parcel, the day after the last one arrives). You can also cancel before your order arrives. Once it has been sent, we can’t stop the parcel, so you send it back after it arrives. Unless an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, you pay the cost of sending it back to our return address in the Netherlands. How to cancel, return an item and get your refund is explained in our returns policy.
8. Faulty items and your legal rights
We must supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This is our responsibility as the seller, even when your order is sent by our supplier. If an item is faulty, you can reject it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, or ask for a repair or replacement. If that doesn’t solve the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. Our returns policy explains how this works. Nothing in these terms affects these rights.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you placed your order.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
- We sell our products for personal use only. We are not responsible for any business losses, such as loss of profit or loss of business opportunity.
- We do not exclude or limit our responsibility where the law does not allow it. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your legal rights in relation to the products you buy.
10. Events outside our control
If something outside our control delays your order, such as a carrier strike or severe weather, we’ll let you know as soon as we can and do what we can to limit the delay. If the delay is significant, you can cancel your order and we’ll refund you in full for anything you haven’t received.
11. Your personal information
We only use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, please email us at support@apparelforwoman.com with your order number and a short description of the problem. We’ll reply as quickly as we can and do our best to put things right.
For free, independent advice about your rights, you can contact Citizens Advice (England and Wales) or Consumer Advice Scotland.
13. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of the part of the UK where you live: the law of England and Wales if you live in England or Wales, and Scots law if you live in Scotland. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection you have under UK consumer law.
If you want to take legal action against us about your order, you can do so in the courts of the part of the UK where you live. If we ever need to take legal action against you, we will only do so in those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on our website when you placed it.
15. Other important terms
- If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest of the terms still apply.
- If we don’t enforce one of your obligations straight away, we can still enforce it later.
